🎮 PS5 BLACKOUT — I've been playing my switch instead… AND IT MADE ME REALIZE SOMETHING.

As part of the PS5 BLACKOUT, I've been staying off my PlayStation.

And something unexpected happened:

I recently bought a Switch from my brother, and honestly, I'm impressed.

I put a physical game cartridge in and no download is required.

Many Switch games contain the playable game directly on that tiny cartridge. No giant initial installation taking up half my storage. No waiting forever before I can start. *

It feels incredibly simple.

Insert game → Play game. 🎮

And look at the size of these cartridges!

They're tiny pieces of flash storage capable of holding gigabytes of game data. Higher-capacity cartridges can also be more expensive for publishers than distributing the same game digitally. That's amazing engineering and a great customer experience.

And when I'm finished with it, it still has value to somebody else.

That experience made me think about PlayStation differently.

And ironically, participating in the PS5 BLACKOUT didn't make me stop gaming.

IT MADE ME DISCOVER what a great console the switch is

And I'm enjoying playing it.

That's something PlayStation should pay attention to.
