PS5 BLACK0UT Join the Movement!
Response to:
“Keyboard warriors.” “Social justice warriors.” “It won’t make a difference.” “Sony doesn’t care.”
I’ve seen all of it
But here’s what people are missing:
I actually buy physical games. I collect them. I care about owning what I pay for.
This isn’t outrage for the sake of outrage.
It’s called making change.
Gaming is one of the biggest hobbies in the world. Millions of us may disagree about politics, culture, consoles, and almost everything else.
But here’s something we CAN unite around:
When we spend OUR hard earned money, we should have a voice. Companies exist because customers choose to buy their products.
And if thousands — eventually millions — of customers can stand together and say:
“We don’t want this.”
Then companies have a reason to listen.
That’s the whole point of the #PSBlackout.
Consumer action.
The same way you request a refund when you didn’t get a product the way you wanted it.
And I even think this is bigger than video games.
If people can learn to organize around something as simple as protecting physical games, maybe we remind ourselves that ordinary people actually CAN organize around bigger things too.
But it starts somewhere.
For us, it starts with something millions of people already care about.
🎮 Gaming.
💿 Ownership.
🤝 Consumer choice.
You can call us keyboard warriors.
I’d rather be someone who tried than someone who decided nothing could change before the fight even started.
August 23–30.
